Each agency has a critical role:
NSCDC protects critical infrastructure, ensures internal peace, and supports disaster response.
NIS manages immigration, passports, and border control.

CDCFIB Recruitment 2025 - Latest Update:
As of October 2025, CDCFIB has released an official statement confirming that the shortlisted names for the 2025 recruitment exercise are now available on the recruitment portal.
Applicants who successfully passed the initial screening stage are advised to visit the official recruitment portal to check if they have been shortlisted for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) or the next phase of selection.
The portal also allows applicants to retrieve their examination slips - a document that shows your test date, time, venue, and important instructions.
How to Check CDCFIB Shortlisted Names:
Checking if your name appears on the CDCFIB shortlist is a straightforward process when you follow these simple steps carefully.
Step 1: Visit the Official Portal
Go to the CDCFIB recruitment website:
https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
Avoid fake or cloned websites. This is the only official platform for CDCFIB recruitment.
Step 2: Locate the Shortlist or Examination Slip Section
Once the homepage loads, you’ll see a button or link titled:
“Check Shortlisted Candidates”or
“Retrieve Examination Slip”
Click on the relevant section to proceed.
Step 3: Enter Your Details
You’ll be asked to enter:
Your National Identity Number (NIN)
Your Phone Number (the one used during registration)
These two details must match what you submitted during your application.
Step 4: Check Your Status
After submitting your details, the portal will automatically check the database and show your recruitment status:
If shortlisted, a congratulatory message will appear along with instructions and a link to download your exam slip.
If not shortlisted, you’ll receive a message indicating you were not successful or that your application is still under review.
Step 5: Download Your Examination Slip
Once you are shortlisted, download your examination slip (PDF) immediately. The slip contains:
- Your full name
- The position you applied for
- Date, time, and venue of your exam or test
- Instructions on items to bring along
Step 6: Print Multiple Copies
Print at least two (2) copies of the examination slip. Keep one as a backup. Ensure the printout is clear and legible. You will present this slip on the day of your test.
